Though all browsers are different, a JavaScript enable option is usually present in either the security or content areas of the browser's tools menu. We have provided below specific instructions for three industry-standard browsers: Internet Explorer, FireFox, and Safari.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.x, 6.x, and 5.x
Open Internet Explorer
Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
In Internet Options dialog box select the Security tab.
Click Custom level button at bottom right. The Security settings dialog box will pop up.
Under Scripting category check the Active Scripting radio box.
Click OK twice to close out.
Click on the browser refresh button.
FireFox 2.x, 1.5
Open FireFox.
Select Options from the Tools menu bar.
Select the Content tab.
Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
Click the OK button to save settings.
Click on the browser refresh button.
Older versions of FireFox
Open FireFox.
Select Options from the Tools menu bar.
Select the Web features tab.
Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
Click the OK button to save settings.
Click on the browser refresh button.
Safari (Mac)
Open Safari.
Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
Click Security.
Check both Enable Java and Enable Javascript.
Click on the OK button.
Click on the browser refresh button.
Firefox (Mac)
Open Safari.
Select Preferences from the Firefox menu.
Select the Content tab.
Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
Click the OK button to save settings.
Click on the browser refresh button.
